SLEMAN - Failed SNMPTN no need to worry, because there are still two other lines of acceptance of other State Universities, namely Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN) and Seleksi Mandiri of the relevant PTN.

SBMPTN is a selection of PTN entry which is known generally, namely using the grade of written examinations held simultaneously by all state universities. In SBMPTN, the grade variable during the high school is not taken into an account, the one taken into account is the grade result of the written exam entering the PTN on the H-day of selection.

While the Seleksi Mandiri which is the selection of admission to state universities will be conducted and supervised by the relevant PTN, not the central committee.

UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) is still waiting for the participants who want to register through SBMPTN and Seleksi Mandiri.

This year UPNVY has a capacity of 3,035 prospective undergraduate students and 80 prospective D3 students. A total of 911 seats are allocated through the SNMPTN line. The remaining 1,214 seats are for SBMPTN and 911 seats are allocated for Independent Selection.

The registration SBMPTN 2018 was in the form of print-based exam (UTBC) and computer-based test written through online at the official website https://pendaftaran.sbmptn.ac.id.

The first step, select Menu A to get KAP, PIN, and Payment Code. Then the participants fill out the full name according to the diploma. Charging please be done carefully because if there is a process error, it cannot be changed or repaired.

Once filled correctly, hit the "Register" button. Do not forget to save the payment slip that has been received.

The next step is to make a payment through the bank. Participants are given a time limit of 3x24 hours since the payment slip has been received. SBMPTN registration fee of Rp200,000.

After paying, the participant must access https://pendaftaran.sbmptn.ac.id and select Menu B. Enter the accepted KAP and PIN, with procedure as follows.

• Upload the photographs, as the requirements of size 4 cm x 6 cm with a minimum resolution of 400 pixels x 600 pixels (approximately 250 dpi) in JPG or PNG format. The size of the photo file cannot be more than 100 KB.
• If the photo has met the requirements of SBMPTN 2018 registration then click Save.
• Then, fill out the Biodata Form with the correct data then click the Save button.
• Prospective participants then fill out the Education Form with the correct data then click Save.
• The next step, the students fill out the Study Options Form and Test Location, then click Save button. The stages are as followed: (a) choose where you take the exam; (b) select PTN and study program addressed to option 1; (c) select the PTN and the study program addressed to option 2; (d) select the PTN and the study program referred to in option 3.

The next stage, participants will take the UTBC or UTBK written test that was held on May 8, 2018. The participants are also required to take the skill tests held on 9 and 11 May 2018. The exam results will be announced on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, starting at 17.00 and accessible on http://pengumuman.sbmptn.ac.id page.
