The Chairperson of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” UPN Covid-19 Task Force, Dr. Eko Teguh Paripurna said, "The Covid-19 pandemic has indirectly made us accustom and oblige ourselves to always live clean and comply with health protocols. Everything starts from self-awareness, and then disciplined behavior will come within it. Then, what is 3M? Previously, 3M was socialized by the government to avoid dengue fever (DBD), but in the present context (during the Covid-19 pandemic), 3M is defined as washing hands with soap and running water, wearing a mask, and keeping a distance from other people at least one meter . In order to socialize the 3M movement to the general public, we together with BNPB and the Ministry of Health took the initiative to hold a video and flyer competition to invite and educate the general public to keep clean amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

"The purpose of holding this competition is to raise awareness and provide understanding to all elements of society about the importance of washing hands, wearing masks, and maintaining distance. By carrying out the 3M movement, the community has helped the Government of Indonesia to prevent and minimize the spread and reduce the risk of Covid-19 infection," added Dr. Eko Teguh Paripurna.

On the same occasion, Arif Rianto Budi Nugroho, ST, M.Si, as the deputy chairman of UPNVY Covid-19 Task Force said that in order to take part in enlivening the UPNVY Anniversary event, the video and flyer competition has been extended to November 15, 2020 and the announcement of winners will be announced at the same time as the event peak of UPNVY's Dies Natalis as well as welcoming the UPNVY's declaration as a Healthy Campus.
